Havana has been a dream of mine, and so despite that challenges that come with visiting here (OFAC paperwork, customs, exchanging money), I still had a wonderful time. We did a private food tour excursion that was OFAC certified - it was wonderful. The city is such an amazing mix of old and new, of run-down and refurbished, but there is a certain beauty there. We hired a private guide who provided us a ride in one of the old cars along with his walking tour. We felt that he included everything we wanted to see, and took us to a private restaurant . Havana. A city of amazing contrast and contradiction. we arranged our own activity. 2 hour city tour in a 1950 chevie original engine. 1 hour guided tour by horse and carriage. The market place is huge and gifts and souvenirs can be bought cheaply. The Cuban people are friendly and very lovable. We felt super safe everywhere we went. would go back again and again and again. ...

We did the hop on hop off bus trip for 10 cuc per person. It was 2 hours long on a double decker bus and of course we sat on top at the back for picture taking. It was so hot so we didn’t get off at all but stayed on the whole time and saw the sites.love driving by the old cars and then seeing the new and old buildings. The old buildings are so interesting but dirty from all the pollution the ...
