We chose this cruise since it fit our schedule. I would say for an older ship it wasn't that bad. We had porthole rooms. The air conditioning didn't work on the first day, so we had to call guest services twice (one room). Both calls took about 10 minutes to answer the phone. On the first call they never came to fix the AC. About 5 hours later I called again and they then came to fix the AC. We had 2 rooms and the salesperson could have put us closer together, 8263 and 8213 were on the opposite side of the ship. Leaving the ship in CUBA could have gone a bit smother, we couldn't get off until 11am. The cruise line attempts to force you to by excursions (NCL) for CUBA on the ship, which are double and triple of what you find off the ship. We found local guides when off the ship. You do not need to book a tour through NCL if you dont want to! You can still get off the ship in HAVANA and do what you want. I found the dining room service a bit slow for us, if your in a crunch for time go to the 11th floor for the buffet. We would have liked to have another day to gang out in Havana, lots to see and do. Deflated basketballs in the basketball court. The NCL salespeople on the phone have no clue about Cuba and the process of leaving the ship, I almost canceled the whole cruise over the poor service over the phone. Those are my CONS.
PROS.
Plenty of food and drinks on board. Lots of free activities for children at night. Good service most of the time. Great shows. Plenty of activities on the ship to keep busy. Very clean and a focus on keeping the ship clean and free from contagious deseases.
Small but adequate, poor maintenance. As stated above AC was broken and called several times to fix it. Plenty of space under the bed.
