I have to admit that I was concerned about choosing P&O Arcadia for our cruise from San Francisco - Sydney when I saw all the poor reviews compared to the reviews on our usual cruise line, Royal Caribbean. Recently arrived back from Azura cruise 21 Jan-4 Feb 17. The cruise was generally fine but there is much that can be improved. The 65% reviewers approval rating is a fair assessment.

We primarily chose this 28 night cruise because it was a non-flying winter sunshine holiday. We are seasoned cruisers of 20+ cruisers but this was our first with P&O. We have priority boarding with some cruise lines and we were surprised how swift and painless our boarding was being P&O first timers. Lovely ship, great public areas, clean and pleasant.

balcony cabin, a bit rattly when the winds blew hard at sea but otherwise good
dining. The TV quality is a bit dated and is in need of updating but the on board information on them was good
