Chose this cruise simply because we wanted to visit the Caribbean without having to fly.
We have previously cruised with Royal Caribbean, Princess and Celebrity, but were told by other cruisers that "P&O is the best" so we were very excited at the prospect of sampling "the best". However if this cruise on Ventura is anything to go by, then P&0 is in my opinion very far from being THE BEST. Try Celebrity Eclipse for starters!
The shore excursions were excellent, well organised with brilliant local guides.
Cabin Review
Cabin layout good, quite comfortable and well equipped. Adequate storage space.
However the cabin decor looked very grubby and well worn.The carpet very heavily soiled and stained in several places.The bathroom tile grouting was very badly marked with black mould, and the surface of the bath very damaged and worn (it looked dirty so I tried to clean it off!)
