We just returned from a 10 day cruise tour with 7 days on the Millennium beginning June 3, 2011. The cruise was great with exceptional service and good food. Our waiter, Oscar and Asst. waiter, Edgar, did a fabulous job. We've sailed on Carnival before but it can't compare to the service on Celebrity. At first the food and drink stations were slow because there was no self-service due to a virus during the prior cruise. (Health regs. require 72 hours of no self-service). The ship was sanitized before we left Vancouver, so we were late leaving. No one got sick on our cruise, but it was a little scary being on a ship where people did get sick. The entertainment was only so so but still better than Carnival. And unlike Carnival there wasn't thousands of kids running around, which we definately appreciated. The only real complaint we had was concerned the beds and pillows; the pillows were flat and the beds caved in.We will definately cruise on Celebrity again.
The cabins are smaller than on any other cruise line. Our travel companions were first time cruisers and shared a cabin with 3 people. It was so crowded that they said they will never cruise again! The beds are old and sagging and the pillows were flat.
