This review of our Carnival Christmas Cruise on the Breeze 12/24-29/2022. My wife and I booked our first Christmas Cruise. We have grown children with 4 grandchildren.  The Cruise was amazing and we had a fantastic time. I will include the great, the bad, and the ugly so you can decide how you would rate this cruise.

Houston Airport to the Port of Galveston: We booked a Lyft from the airport. We were picked up within 10 minutes and given an easy 50 minute drive to the port for $59.

The Port of Galveston: The Port is ugly, disorganized, chaotic, and confusing. There is limited signage and people everywhere are scrambling to get through the traffic. The porters for luggage are haphazardly grabbing luggage from cars, walk ups, and large groups from busses and vans. This caused people to push and jockey for position. The line to get into boarding was unmarked, but the staff guided us into the correct line. Once we dropped our luggage and funneled through the boarding pass check, things improved dramatically. The passport check, photo processing, and the rest of the embarkation was very fast and fluid. The crew began to be enthusiastic and informative. We were met with drinks and the ability to explore the ship. We explored for an hour grabbed a burrito from the Blue Iguana and then went to our room at 130 pm when the rooms were opened.

Cozumel

Cozumel is well organized, clean, safe and easy to navigate. The taxi area is the best I have seen. The flat rate fares make travel so easy.
