Sail Date: May 2022

Wanted to visit the Inside Passage in Alaska. Ports of call were Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay National Park, Ketchikan, and Victoria BC. The ship was not able to sail at full speed and ran at half speed the ENTIRE cruise. We were made aware of this one week before sailing, too late to cancel. Because of this we were late arriving in Juneau and missed our excursion. It was credited back to our "on board" account. Instead of visiting Ketchikan we were diverted to Icy Straight Point, like who cares, because the ship was sailing too slow. THEN because of it sailing too slow Icy Straight was cancelled! Next was Victoria, BC. where we arrived one hour earlier then scheduled which the captain thought was so wonderful - we were there only four hours instead of three. Whoppie do.

This ship should not have sailed and had the engines repaired. This cruise was an total disappointment. BTW, we were given an "on board" credit of $100 for our "inconvenience". Prior to sailing we were given an $60. "on board" credit for the ship sailing not up to par.

This was an bucket list agenda we had been waiting for and feel like we had the bucket put over our heads. Would not recommend Princess to Alaska EVER.
