Sail Date: Nov 2019
Cabin: Deluxe Balcony

In order to give you perspective, we chose this ship based on the fact we had sailed on the Regal on five different occasions and were excited to sail on the Sky during her inaugural season, we have also sailed on Princess’ Grand and Crown class ships but prefer the Royal class ships, having said that, we have enjoyed every cruise with Princess.

Embarkation: We embarked in Barcelona, although we have priority embarkation, there was no line up and we embarked within minutes of arriving at the port even though we had to pick up our medallion as we are Canadian and not entitled to have the medallion shipped to our residence.

First impression: the ship is beautiful, modern decor, everything we loved about the Regal with many improvements such as the layout in Princess Live and Take 5. The public spaces seemed bigger and more open. The Piazza is beautiful and spacious. Alfredo’s and Le Mer both have outdoor seating which we enjoyed on a nice day. The center pool area on the Lido deck is great with 2 large pools and 4 overall on the ship. We were blown away by how great the ship looked.
