Sail Date: Dec 2019
Cabin: Deluxe Balcony

We sailed 12/1/19 and 12/4/19 "inaugural" cruises on the Sky Princess. It's a beautiful ship.

As compared to the Regal Princess, Sky has a much nicer Princess Live; it is open to the passageway and feels far less claustrophobic. No more "ledge" in the Princess Theater and except for the front section, all rows are tiered for a good view. We loved the infinity pool added to the Lido Deck aft (but prefer the Terrace Pool on other ships.)

Both of our sailings were supposed to be inaugurals, but there were no festivities and the Godmother wasn't even named until after we disembarked. We booked two cruises, but got one allotment of wifi minutes (Platinum) and one Princess gift bag. Liquor Control did not want to allow us two bottles of wine each, although we were embarking for two cruises!

Deluxe Balcony

We strongly prefer Marina Deck balconies on this class of ship. The Lido Deck provides extensive cover for sun and rain protection. Being just one flight of stairs below the Lido Deck is very convenient.
