My husband and I expected to have a lovely experience. The ship is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful and our cabin was comfortable. The dinner menus looked interesting but the food was bland, overcooked and tough. We truly hoped it was only a one night problem but we were disappointed in the dinners on the first 5 nights of our 7 night cruise. On night 6 we decided to have dinner at Alfredo"s cafe and it was the only flavorful and well prepared dinner on the ship. The staff offered us a chance to dine in Sabitini's specialty restaurant. It was probably the WORST meal we had on this vacation. The entertainment was great. We loved the production shows. There was lovely live music in many venues around the ship. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. There were always lounges and seats available wherever we chose to go. We loved the professional portraits taken by the great photographers. Sorry to say that we definitely will not take a Princess cruise again.
Decent sized stateroom. It was blandly decorated with ample closet space, many hangers. good hot water and nice water pressure. The bed was comfortable. The balcony was adequate with 2 chairs and a small table.
We were looking forward to snorkeling but it was a windy day and the water was rough. It's a lovely island.
We had a day beach pass at the Holland House Hotel. It was a bargain and a great relaxing day. For $25 you get 2 lounges, an umbrella, use of the restrooms, an outdoor shower and a bucket of 4 water, beer or wine. I highly recommend this activity.
