We decide to take the cruise because of the discounted fare. Finding the entrance for embarkation was a little confusing because of lack of signs. But once inside the building things went pretty smoothly. We had a balcony stateroom which we enjoyed. Big bed, adequate storage space & great view from the balcony. The only downside was the small shower stall; it was difficult to move around. The housekeeping staff was outstanding, changing towels several times each day and greeting us by name, with friendly smiles. The restaurants were very good. Nice menus with good choices. The buffet was OK but always crowded and hard to find tables. Entertainment in the evenings were great, esp. the comedian, Michael Somerville. Service except for the housekeeping staff, was so-so. Some of the shipboard staff (restaurants, guest services, etc.) were really nice but there were some who didn't seem happy in their jobs. We didn't take any shore excursions, instead renting cars in a couple of ports. There were shuttles that took passengers to shopping malls in several ports which was very nice. But there wasn't enough information to tell us what each shuttle destination consisted of. Overall, it was a good cruise. Based on this experience, we would consider taking other cruises.

Cabin Review

Large Balcony

Balcony stateroom was very comfortable, except for the small shower stall. Bed was comfortable and the housekeeping staff did a great job of taking care of the cabin. I use a CPAP machine and the outlets were on the opposite wall from the bed so I had to use an extension cord. We had to be careful not to trip in the wire. The view from our balcony was great, esp. when cruising the Na Pali coast.
