We sailed last year on almost the same exact cruise and enjoyed it so much that we booked the same ship and the same cabin this year.
However, from the get go things were disappointing. They assigned #s to board the ship (after check in) and we sat patiently waiting for our # to be called, only to watch everyone that was behind us get on the ship. We had #31, watched people with #34 waltz past us onto the ship. We asked the worker who was calling the #s what # he as on as he flipped the 34 cards over quickly. They finally called "everyone else" and the last 30 or so of us boarded. We found our cabin, dropped off our carry on and hurried to the buffet only to be turned away because the safety drill was happening soon. So we sat thru the safety drill hungry and thirsty only to get a memo the next day that said we weren't at the drill??? We did sign in at the drill.
We found food to be barely warm at best in both the buffet and dining rooms. Bartenders didn't know how to make drinks, or serve the next person waiting, basically served who ever was loudest. Everything just seemed off this cruise, like it was a crew in training.
Cabin was okay. New carpeting and drapes from last year but it just seemed a bit run down.
