We went on the NCL Escape in December. This is fourth cruise so far in the last 5 years and so far we have been on Holland America, Carnival, Royal Carribean and this NCL one. NCL Escape was the best ship we have been on so far. Initially i was a little hesitant that it might be very expensive, but for the price we paid, it was totally worth it. The food was great, they had lot of varieties every day, the activities on the ship for families were great, we took part in a few of them and they were a lot of fun. The Splash Academy for kids was the favorite place for the kids, it was really huge compared to the kids daycares on all the other ships and had ton of activities for the kids. Our kids just did not want to leave that. They had grouped the kids by age group and had them perform on the last day. The water slides were a lot of fun and the kids pool was good. The ship in general was very well kept and maintained. Our room Steward was awesome, everytime we left the room and were back the room was all tidied up and neat. Special Kudos and mention to the Cruise Director Tyler and his assistant director Dave. They both had so much energy and were so much fun, everytime they were in the galley/Atrium/the dance floor it was just lot of fun. The Spice H2O was awesome, open-air dance club, it was really so much fun. All in all, this was our best Cruise so far for our entire family, and we will be going back on this ship again. The "After midnight" and "Brat Pack" were really great shows.
Nice, spacious room, very well kept by the room stewards all the time!!!
