We chose this cruise because it was convenient for our family. I've always wanted to sail under the Verrazzano! Leaving from Bayonne was easy. There's ample, convenient and well priced parking. This was our second trip on the Summit. We thought she was in as good or better shape than 9 years ago. We were first on the ship due to our suite status, enjoyed our meals in Luminae (shout out to Charles, Jason and O'Neil). Our Butler, John was always around...with a smile and some snacks. Anastasia our concierge in Michael's was professional and very organized. Even though there were passengers with health issues, Captain Alex was up to the challenge! This was our second trip (the last time was land based 30+ years ago) to Bermuda. We found Bermuda beautiful but boring. We ferried into Hamilton twice but couldn't find much to shop for or do, although we did enjoy our lunch at the Hamilton Princess. Our biggest gripe was the bread basket at dinner and the pastry tray at breakfast! Can't they change it up? I guess boring was the theme...
