Sail Date: Apr 2017
Cabin: Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

We hadn't been on a transatlantic cruise before though we have sailed on many other cruises and companies.

The weather was not at all kind which no-one could foresee. However we feel that because of this and the 6 days at sea before touching land the entertainment during the day was sorely lacking. Too many sales pitches and quizzes. Movies are only shown outside at the pool at 7 and 10 pm - no use on this cruise at all. Surely a film or two could have been shown indoors. There weren't even many enrichment talks except those trying to get you to sign up to pay for something or other. The library was nearly completely out of books on the first day of this cruise. Surely it should have been well stocked up on a cruise like this.

I don't want to knock Royal Caribbean as a cruiseline because we have been with them many times and this is the first time we have been disappointed.

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

This cabin was quite spacious on deck 9. Though not modern, it was reasonably well fitted out with plenty of storage and a large sofa. The balcony wasn't very large but adequate.

It was kept spotless by our cabin stewart Wayan.
