Having cruised on Holland, Royal Caribean and Celebrity in the past, I was excited to see what Princess had to offer. The port (LA) and the duration (5 days) fit well in to our West Coast vacation.

Embarkation went smoothly. But when I noticed the shared serving utensil for our welcome buffet I was surprised. So I was not shocked on the second day of the cruise we were cautioned about the increasing number of gastrointestinal illnesses. The cautionary announcements continued daily, limiting our participation and enjoyment of activities.

We chose 'anytime dining' because we enjoy sharing meals with other passengers. Unfortunately, it was difficult to put in a reservation request. The wait time for walk in service was between 30-60 minutes.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin B4

Typical room with balcony. They denied my request for a foot stool on the balcony as that is only available for the suites. Also,

The tissues and t.p. was a nightmare! Considering all the belly issues on this ship, the least they could do was to supply better toilet paper.
