This was our fist cruise with Princess and will most likely be the last. We were not impressed, although our previous sailing was with DCL and it is hard to beat them.

I'll start with the positives first. Embarkation was smooth and very organized. With DCL, we felt cattle being coralled in a pen. Not so with Princess. There were different rooms in the Redhook Cruise terminal and seats in the room where we waited for embarkation. Our luggage was also well taken care of both on embarkationa nd debarkation. I like the color coded luggage areas.

We were tendered twice and both times were very organized. I heard some complaining, but I can't imagine how hard it must be to organize tenders and minimize wait time.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BW

The cabin was fine. Unfortunately, you could not go out the balcony door if the sofa bed was out, but we managed. Really liked the walk-in closet area. View was obstructed by a lifeboat, but not a major obstruction. The grease from the cables had a nasty odor that got into the cabin if the door was left open though. Yuck.
