The ship was a bit difficult to learn your way around but beyond that, everything was top notch. We had a group of 14 people and it was everything you would want in a pleasure cruise. The ship was being chased by a hurricane but because of the high level of competence of the crew, as well as whoever made the decision to change our itinerary, there was negligible impact from the weather throughout the trip. My hat goes off to the Maître De (Spelling) for readily accommodating the needs of 14 people to arrange for group seating during each evening meal. I must also say it was a pleasure to run into one of the dining room staff who served me previously on another Carnival cruise ship. Surprisingly enough, he recognized me at virtually the same time I recognized him. It was almost like a family reunion. I readily endorse this ship and its crew for anyone who is considering a cruise.
The cabin on the extreme aft end of the ship was larger than we expected. Despite being so far back, the ride was smooth to say the least. Of course, the cabin steward was one step beyond outstanding.
