We chose this cruise for our anniversary. I have taken 8 cruises before. 1 on Carnival and 7 on RC the last one being Freedom of the seas. It took way to long to embark the ship. One hour and a half. Once on board it was very unorganized. The ship is very nice but the lay out my,ex it too congested for the amount of people. The pool area is extremely small and it is almost self service to get a drink from the pool staff. My cabin steward was laxadasical. Being a first time cruiser I felt by myself trying to navigate. The illusionarium is your typical magic show and dinner feels rushed. The Japanese steak house is awesome. If you want room service be prepared to pay for it unless you are in the Haven. Burn the floor and Million dollar Quartet were fantastic. Save your money for the ports. There is nothing to shop for on board. Leave your room key in the switch by the door or you will not have power. Your A/C will, shut off if your balcony door is opened.
We were in cabin 13904. It is aft and starboard. It has a nice layout and plenty of room for two people. If you want a good itinerary and don't care about service the Getaway is for you.
Plenty of room for two people. It is on the Starboard side. Life jackets are u dear the bed on the right hand side. Leave your key in the light switch or you have no power. Storage under the couch and along the side of the tv. The bed is next to the balcony door. Night stands are really small. There were two chase loungers, small table and a regular chair. The vanity chair can be used for dirty clothes. It is a nice room and has beautiful views.
Very busy and extremely helpful.
Be prepared to be pounced on by the locals. Very busy. Shopping is not all they. Next time I will take an excursion.
