Just returned from May 22 sailing and had a great time! This was our 9th cruise and our third with NCL and was a good one! Our 24 year old son and one of his friends were with us and this ship had activities to please all. My son and his dad loved the ropes course and I loved mini- golf. We only ate at the complimentary restaurants and were not disappointed. The buffet was great at every meal and we enjoyed Taste and Savor. We weren't too thrilled with O'Sheehans as the wait was rather long and the service not as good. The food, however, was okay.

We flew into ft. Lauderdale as it was cheaper than flying into Miami from East Tennessee and used transportation from gomjstrans.com. They are definitely the company to use. I have used others in the past and was not nearly as pleased. This was cheapest ($15 per person) and easiest to get in touch with after landing. The vans were new Mercedes and very comfortable and our drivers were great! They are my go to transport company from now on.

Embarkation and disembarkation were quick and easy. I was a little concerned that our cabin 14268 was under the buffet and reviews complained about kitchen noise but we didn't have that problem at all and loved the convenience of the location. We had a great price on a guaranteed balcony room and found it to be adequate for the four of us. We camped with a fifth-wheel in the past so the bathroom seemed roomy to us and storage was ample. We were able to store suitcases under the bed which was helpful. Balcony was small but usable. Our room steward, Bhupesh, was great and willing to work with our erratic schedules.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BC

Very convenient and quiet. We were under the buffet but never heard any kitchen noise. Bathroom was roomier than some cabins we have had before and storage was ample. Couch made a comfortable bed and there was a pull-down bunk. Our bed was very comfortable. If you use a CPAP machine, be sure to bring an extension cord as there are no outlets by the bed.

Port Reviews

Miami

One of the easiest embarkations we have had.

Costa Maya

Just took a $3 trolley to beach and paid a taxi $2 per person for a ride back to port.

Cozumel

Walked around and ate at Margaritaville.
