Chose this cruise because we wanted to see St. Petersburg without flying in or out of Russia. Mission accomplished, However, a Big BUT. The ships shore excursions are Way overpriced and just not very good, with the exception of the Normandy D Day Landing Beaches Excursion. Was very overpriced, but was a very good tour. We saw virtually nothing in the Hermitage. So crowded one could barely move. The shore excursions left the ship so late that everyone was there at once, from multiple Large cruise ships. The ship itself is a beautiful ship. The Horizon Court has the best layout of any ship we have been on to date. We had a mini-suite, nice although smaller than on other ships. The workout room does not have a space to stretch, odd layout. Zumba is in the main Plaza so one becomes entertainment for all the passengers strolling about or shopping. I felt that there was very little entertainment. Most was disguised as entertainment, but was really a marketing opportunity. Sell SELL SELL is the name of their game. Once we figured out the ins and outs of the anytime dining, we throughly enjoyed the dining experience as well as our wait staff. We mostly sat at the same table every night. I thought the food in the dining room was Very Good, and well presented. The staff on the ship were excellent.

Should Book Private Tours Not Ship Tours

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony
Cabin MA A417
Nice cabin Aloha deck in the middle of the ship. The balcony is smaller than on other ships, however it was cold weather so that did not matter.
Riviera Deck Inside Cabins, Balcony Cabins, Suite Cabins
