Wanting to explore the countries in the Baltic Sea we selected Regal Princess on the size and age of the ship and were not disappointed. The service and presentation of the staff are outstanding, they are always very professional in all interactions with passengers. We had only come off a Royal Carribbean cruise Sydney to Singapore 4 days prior to our Regal Princess cruise and were very disappointed with the Voyager of the Seas experience given we had been on 5 previous Royal Carribbean cruises over the past 10 years. The mini suite though smaller than the Voyager of the Seas suite was very comfortable and the outlook via the balcony was wonderful as we cruised the Baltic Seas.

The entertainment was not as good as we have previously experienced and suggest you are seated at least 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the show as there are a number of seats on the sides of theatre which only provide a partial view of the stage.

The only port which was walkable distance to the town centre was Oslo, there were shuttles provided however at a cost. Be careful the shore tours did not appear to leave on the times specified. It would appear Princess line do not enforce passengers to sanitise their hands prior to entering any restaurants. Until they appoint a crew member supervising passengers with this procedure the cruiseline places itself at a higher risk of gastro outbreaks.
