At first we were a bit wary as there is an age demographic in Cruiseville!
Actually a pretty good mix & what the hell we were on holiday.

I did not think a holiday could be this good & relaxing. 100% effort from every body, we arrived at Port of Tyne and baggage handlers descended to take our luggage, very easy & simple check in, & of to the ship after a short wait.
Our cabin was spotless & the cabin stewardess kept it that way till we left, calling 2 or 3 times a day.

Fred Olsen documentation appears to indicate that port facilities at Newcastle are not as good as other ports. Having sailed with Fred before we decided to do the Norway ,Arrived Dover parked the old bus up, Check in seemed to take for ever with those above our deck taking preference on boarding, lots of old people over 60 if you catch my drift .
One thing about Fred Olsen if it sank there are enough sticks on board you could build a raft and it is like a mortuary after 23.59 .
