One and done! Hi

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Queen Elizabeth

Getting away on what we thought would be a restful and peaceful cruise across the Atlantic was anything but that, and we will never sail with Cunard again. Entering the terminal and boarding the ship was about the only positive part, although as we masked up from that first minute we wondered about Covid on the ship. Turns out we should have wondered as the ship was ripe with Covid ...

The cruise was going fine and we were celebrating my husbands 70th birthday. It all turned very sour when we both contracted Covid. I tested positive first and my husband 3 days later. It then became a very distressing experience. I was escorted to my isolation cabin, passing several other guests along the way. Let me start by saying that we are Platinum members and have enjoyed many Cunard cruises in past years. Of course, like the other cruise lines acquired by Carnival LLC luxury & quality service has taken a back seat to costs. In reading some other reviews with 6 stars and glowing reviews, I find myself thinking that they are either employees of Carnival LLC or people with really low expectations so ...

This was probably the best cruise we've taken in the 30 years that we've been cruising. The ship, service and ambiance was excellent. I was a bit leary in booking this cruise because of all the past negative reviews on this website however there was very little that I could fault the cruise line for. We embarked in Ft. Lauderdale. Got to the port around noon and had to wait an hour and a ...
