we chose this cruise at last minute - the ship itself was clean and well run however the meals at the buffet wasnt hot and not a lot of choice. the restaurant meals were ok but nothing exciting as the menu was a bit much the same most nights. we booked an outside cabin with restricted view OMG we couldn't see outside the window at all, not even the sky as a life boat was hard up against the ...

Indian veg food spread was the most marvellous we gave seen ever in any cruise . This being my 8 th cruise . But the timings were so horrific and rigid . The staff were gaining sadistic pleasure in taking away food from ur sight dot at closing time . I’ve travelled the world and all restaurants including 5 stars have a grace period of 30 mins or more . But not toscano ! It was as if they were ...

You can joying lots of activities, like basketball game, boxing aerobic dance, zumba,..etc. Performance shows are international, high class, keep your eyes on performance. The restaurant Bellavista is wonderful. The meals are delicious and service is pretty good. All staffs are very kind ,patient and always smile. But there are little problems in cruise. All swimming pools are too small, steps ...

I traveled with my wife and elderly mother who flew in especially from the UK for this cruise to join us. The Toscana itself was very impressive but the complete lack of service and knowledge from the F&B staff ruined our vacation. We ate in 2 specialty restaurants and the buffet on deck 8 for the remaining evenings and lunches. Same food with no variation, lukewarm at best but the most disturbing ...

MSC WORLD EUROPA

Review for a Middle East Cruise on MSC World Europa

We chose a Dubai cruise and MSC seemed to be a good choice. In the main that proved to be correct but there were some inadequacies on the cruise line. Firstly and foremost we received embarkation details saying that we could not board until 19.00 hours which mean we got into our cabin a little after 20.00 hours having extended our hotel booking to accommodate a late checkout. Having boarded we ...

HIGHLIGHT OF THE CRUISE WAS GETTING OFF THE SHIP

I've been on a lot of cruises with companies like Royal Carribean, Norwegian, Celebrity, Carnival, and Princess and wanted to give MSC a try because their itineraries seemed a little more exotic. Checking in was pleasant and the balcony room was generous but thats where it begins and ends. The service on this ship was terrible in the main dining room and buffet. The food was horrible, the ...

I usually do travel in the luxury class however from time to timeI do something else just to be away for one week or so. I had pleasant stays on the Splendida and the Seaview before so I gave the brand new ship a chance. Embarkation in Dubai was a very fast procedure for guests in Yacht Club. The World Europa best can be described as a floating huge resort with lots of restaurant , bars and ...

An opportunity to visit cities in the Middle East is always good. The Costa Toscana is a fairly new ship and it was a great trip on board. The balcony cabin is very spacious - largest bathroom I have been in so far. The balcony was very large too. We had the My Drinks package which includes a bottle of water each per day. Good coffee places around as well , it is an Italian ship after ...

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Jade

SUMMARY The Norwegian Jade is a nice sized ship with a good layout and a spacious theatre. The main dining rooms were well organized and quite spacious. The various specialty dining venues were even better and we enjoyed several good meals in Le Bistro, Cagney's, La Cucina and Moderna. The Teppanyaki was entertaining and we enjoyed the food there but the Jasmine (free anytime) was very ...
