Great Family Vacation

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Disney Magic

The ship was amazing and very clean. There was always a seat available when you went to the buffet or pool deck, even though the ship was totally full. There were tons of Disney characters around the ship, but even when you reserved tickets to go see them, they seemed very rushed and didn't give the kids more then a few seconds each. Our cabin and stateroom were amazing. We had a balcony room, ...

This cruise was just a little get away - just my sister and I - we are in our 50's. This was my 24th cruise- have been on Princess, NCL, Royal Caribbean and Disney before. We booked a 1 bedroom concierge suite - and I have absolutely no complaints about the suite. It was amazing. And the level of service with the concierge is great - we had Joanne and she couldn't do enough for us. We ...

Just got back from a 5 day cruise that went to Grand Cayman and Castaway Cay. There were 8 in our party (4 adults and 4 children (from 6-10 years of age). I have been on three previous Carnival Cruises in the past (even though I am a huge fan of Carnival, my wife wanted to do the Disney thing before the kids got to big) so now I can compare the two different cruise lines. Over all it was a very ...

DH and I made this our 6th DCL cruise on Magic Dec. 23 - 27. It was just the two of us and as a couple who usually travels with others or MANY others, this was a nice reprieve. Here is a few thoughts... In no order whatsoever!! The ship is lovely. I didn't find it run down, worn or full of strange smells. The crew is VERY proud of their ship and will continually tell you it is the BEST. The ...

First of all, our transfer representative from Miami airport was not where she was supposed to meet us. (Baggage carousel). The worst part was that the employee told her supervisor that SHE was there and we were not. This was an outright lie! Yes, she was some place at the airport, I assume, maybe, but not where she was supposed to meet us. I was on the telephone for 30 minutes with her supervisor ...

We live in Florida, so Disney in general is no big deal to us. Don't get me wrong, Disney does what they do very well, and if you're a Disney fan, you should definitely try one of their cruises, if you can afford it. We tend to go for the more economical cruises but decided to bite the almost $2k bullet because two of our daughters had been on a Disney cruise two years ago, raved about it, and ...

I sailed on the Disney Magic to Cozumel and Castaway Cay on 11/15 with my husband and kids. I want to say, first of all, this was not a bad cruise in any way. I was not as impressed with the Disney Magic as I thought I was going to be. When my husband booked this cruise for us, I had thoughts of walking on to the ship and just being blown away. That was not the case. The sum of my review is ...

WONDERFUL! What a great trip. I wanted to give this cruise 4 and a half stars but it would not let me. Let's start with the kids activities. The Oceaners Lab and Club were well run clean and the kids had a ball. They loved going, my daughter who loves to play spent most of her time at the club while my son loves science and tech spent most of his time at the lab. The last night my ...

2014 Disney cruise December 11-17 On Thursday December 11, 2014... A trip we booked in February 2013 was about to come to fruition. I love Disney and wanted to take a merry time cruise. So I booked a 5 day trip on the Disney wonder leaving from Miami and stopping in Grand Cayman and Cozumel…. Two Caribbean islands we had not seen. We left stl 45 minutes late...at 5:15. We had first class ...
