1-10 of 32 Cunard Queen Elizabeth Cruise Reviews for Senior to Italy
My wife and I just did a week long round trip from Barcelona. After our NCL cruise in August it was night and day. were all well organized.
Embarkation was the easiest we ever did. From arrival top being in our cabin was 13 minutes. Staff very pleasant. Room was clean and organized. We had service twice a day( a lesson for some other cruise lines). Our attendant was tops and pro active without ...
know we have enough but Cunard is dropping there offer and standards! Cost saving
- No chocolates in room on arrival or any nights inc gala night - have they stopped them
- No Welcome drinks party from the captain! But was on the Victoria in July and they did the party- so why not now
- No Bottle in room Princess grill only half bottle!
- Same menus now for last 2 years - Has a chef ...
We chose Cunard again because we simply enjoy the gorgeous art deco interiors, superb British service, formality, dress codes, food and entertainment. We did a transatlantic crossing on the Queen Mary 2 some years ago and simply loved it.
That being said, we recognize that not everyone values such an experience. Cunard is NOT the line for you if you want ice skating rinks, climbing walls, go ...
This was our 38th cruise and our second on Cunard (we were on Queen Victoria before).
Pros
The ports of call on this 14day western Mediterranean voyage were very nice, and we managed to enjoy them all, even though we have been to most of them many times already;
Some of the venues, lobby and a few niches look good and subdued, classic but not too stuffy;
The main dining room ...
We choose this cruise as a treat for my 50th birthday and choose to book for 14 nights,we booked a spacious deluxe inside room on a saver fare,two weeks before we sailed we were told that we had been ‘upgraded’ to an outside smaller footage room,when we looked at the room online not only was it smaller but had a tender boat completely blocking the window,after almost an hour on the phone we were ...
I just returned from a seven night Mediterranean cruise on Cunard's Queen Elizabeth.
Being Diamond level in Cunard's World Club I have sailed on all of their ships from QE2
to QM2 and Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria. Cunard never disappoints. In my opinion
Cunard is the most luxurious cruise line in the world and I have sailed with almost every other
line. I describe Cunard ships as ...
Chose this ship since it was going through the panama canal, across the atlantic and on to the mediterranean.
Worst staff ever! most staff were incompetent at their jobs, especially reception and pursers office.
Many staff were outright rude! we have never seen such widespread rudeness on a cruise ship.
Room steward LOCKED ME OUT on my patio and then blamed the door (said it locked ...
Though Cunard are not the cheapest, the whole experience was slick and smooth. We booked a Britannia balcony cabin, with coach transfer as part of the deal. Excellent coach to Southampton with two stops on the way. Arrived on time and in cabin within 30mins.
We chose earlyt dining (6.30pm) on table of 8 and had good company - we moved round the table as the cruise progressed. Formal dress ...
We wanted a luxury ship for an 80th birthday celebration with an interesting itinerary and that’s what we got. We were in a Balcony cabin mid ships and we were able to enjoy room service breakfast on our balcony before excursions. The Britannia restaurant was excellent and all our meals were delicious apart from a tough piece of meat early in the cruise, but when I mentioned this to the head ...
Chose the Queen Elizabeth on this occasion as we wanted to sail from the UK. We did not consider PO this time as there standards on previous cruises has slipped too far. We travelled down on cruise connections service from Wetherby.this was the only do downside as the there was insufficient leg space on the coach.
On arriving at Southampton we completed embarkation very quickly and within 10 ...
