Chose the Queen Elizabeth on this occasion as we wanted to sail from the UK. We did not consider PO this time as there standards on previous cruises has slipped too far. We travelled down on cruise connections service from Wetherby.this was the only do downside as the there was insufficient leg space on the coach.

On arriving at Southampton we completed embarkation very quickly and within 10 minutes of finding our cabin all of our luggage was delivered.

The ship was looking immaculate even though a big refit. is coming soon. The cabin was a good size.shower area was very small There was a big picture window and a sofa and plenty of storage space.

Good size outside cabin with picture window and sofa. Bathroom adequate but very small shower area.

Port Reviews

Naples

Ship docked in Sorrento bay.Excellant tender service and coach up to town.Very enjoyable day even though town was very busy

Sardinia

Did not expect much as it was a Sunday call but very pleasantly surprised at number of shops open and very good feel about town

Seville

Cadiz .our port of call was very nice .Good shops bars etc.

Gibraltar

Been many times before. As we knew it was a fair walk to town as soon as we saw a Big taxi organisation offering return taxi to town centre for £4 return we took advantage of this and it was a excellent service.Apart from cheap drinks and the rock Gib has not alot to offer but a3hour stay is about right
