My wife and I just did a week long round trip from Barcelona. After our NCL cruise in August it was night and day. were all well organized.

Embarkation was the easiest we ever did. From arrival top being in our cabin was 13 minutes. Staff very pleasant. Room was clean and organized. We had service twice a day( a lesson for some other cruise lines). Our attendant was tops and pro active without being intrusive.

The food was excellent in the buffet. In many ways, better than the Britannia. There was great variety each evening and on Indian night they made a dish spicier for my wife at her request. The Verandah for steak was probably the best we ever had at sea. meat done perfectly medium rare and sides were excellent. Trick is if you don't feel like dressing up on formal night(2 on a seven day cruise) go to the buffet, food more relaxed and better tasting. The only disappointment was the enhanced tea. Food very bland and tea was tepid. Not worth the extra fee and service was lackadaisical at best. The Asian pop up, Bamboo was okay but not worth the extra fee. It was nice to be able to carry your own wine of preference and water for cabin on board.
