Loved the ship activities and crew, food not so much.

Review for Oasis of the Seas to Bahamas

Oasis of the Seas Sailed out of Bayonne, NJ on October 3, 2021 on Oasis of the Seas. Excited to cruise again. We had last sailed March 2020 the day before CDC advised not to cruise. On that voyage, one port was closed to us and then San Juan denied us our return debarkation. Scary ending to a trip, but we felt ready now to cruise on a Vaccination Required ship. First time out of Bayonne, ...

WELCOME BACK TO ROYAL

I love cruising and I have missed it soo much. I was so lucky to be able to book a last-minute cruise on Oasis. I am fully vaccinated plus I just received my booster. My husband and I are both nurses. I am so happy that Royal wants everyone vaccinated and tested except for children who are not able to be vaccinated. It is impossible to write a review without talking about COVID protocols. ...

Port Canaveral Boarding Process

Review for Mariner of the Seas to Bahamas

We arrived at the Port Canaveral RCCL Cruise Terminal on Friday, October 1 at around 12:30PM to board the Mariner of the Seas For some reason, the terminal has removed any lines/process for Suite guests, which has always been available in the past and appeared easy to accomodate even during COVIT. It took one hour from the time we arrived until we boarded the ship. There was a long queue line ...

Yeah, I went to the Bahamas, for the weekend...

I went to the Bahamas, for a weekend cruise, on Mariner and I just got home on Monday. I can't tell you much about the ship because I only saw my cabin, the "Pub" on the Promenade, the Diamond Lounge and the main dining room (MDR). Seriously, I never went to any of the outside "things to do" on the ship. I can tell you there is a Starbucks on deck 4 and it wasn't covered by my drink package. The ...

We wanted to try a short cruise for our first cruise post covid. The Mariner of the Seas was perfect in every way. I was crying tears of joy boarding this beautiful ship! I have cruised 50+ cruises on the biggest newest ships, but this cruise was so very special because it was so wonderful to be able to cruise again after the pandemic. The crew and staff were welcoming and very eager to serve. The ...

Terrible

Review for MSC Divina to Bahamas

Boring and dull! The shows were, “eh” nothing to write home about. Ship appeared to be short staffed. Took 1 1/2 hrs to receive our dinner on night one, early dinner service. Many people just got up and left. Desserts were bland, dry, and stale. Except for at the Grab and Go on deck 6- those were fabulous! I highly recommend the lemon and coconut pie, as well as the cherry vanilla ...

We chose this cruise because the price was right! Embarkation and debarkation took 15 minutes, I was impressed. Our balcony was great, and the ship is beautiful. The service was outstanding. Buffet was OK, they will crisp up the pizza for you if you ask. Breakfast was great, and they will make your eggs to order. The main dining room dinner was not great. The first night we left in the ...

Different from other cruise lines, but relaxing

Review for MSC Divina to Bahamas

September 26-30, 2021 This was our was our first-time cruise on a MSC ship and I will say it was different from Royal or Carnival ships, but at the same time was relaxing. The one main difference was in the stage shows. On the Divina at least do not expect to see changing sets or really any sets at all except for beautiful lighted steps. The three main singers were very, very talented, but ...

Coco Cay was Perfect Day

Review for Mariner of the Seas to Bahamas

My late husband of over 35 years and I had over 30 cruises on RCI. I was longing for a cruise experience but didn’t know if I could survive a 7 night cruise as a solo. I selected Mariner of the Seas 4 night out of Port Canaveral for two reasons; it sailed just over two hours away from my home and it went to Coco Cay! Overall, the experience was a little sad. Protocols prevented opportunities to ...

A few words about the DAVINA out of Cape Canaveral -- maybe more than a few, and mostly NEGATIVE Back-2-BACK

Review for MSC Divina to Bahamas

INTRO: First of all I would like to explain that this is only one passenger's opinion, I travelled solo, but it is a very honest one. I chose these cruises because I live close to the port and they had a very good deal on a back-to-back, 7 and 5 days. Having never been on MSC before, but having cruised over 80 times in my 70 years, I thought I had seen the worst cruising had to offer on the NCL ...
