First time Cruisers !!!

Review for MSC Divina to Bahamas

We have friends who love to take Cruises. They suggested that we try MSC as they are new to the U.S. and had some pretty competitive deals. We were excited to try them out as our first experience!!!.. Overall it was a great experience. The Ship was clean from top to bottom. Plenty of bars for service, a solid buffet, and the drink package is well worth it !! I would say stay away from the main ...

we choose the Legnd because we live in Delaware and the drive was easy...and it was. Had a 1:30 boarding time and had priority boarding as we were booked in a suite. Drove up at 12:00 and waited on line ....by 1:20 we left our car to board and we were on the ship by 2:00. Got a burger at guys and it was dry and not impressive. Decks began getting crowded as we explored the ship. Was on the ...

Cost cutbacks make for a poor vacation experience.

Carnival is trying to save money by using less staff and other techniques. No one item is major in itself. When all negative items are combined, it makes for a poor vacation experience. 1. All hot tubs were lukewarm and no bubble aeration 2. Some entrees in MDR were so small (like grilled shrimp), you need to double order. Side dishes were teaspoon sized vegetables. No cocktail person ...

Review for Mariner of the Seas to Bahamas

This was our very first cruise for my wife and I. No special occasion, we just decided since we live in Florida, we might as well try a cruise. I bought our tickets through an agency my work uses and that was seamless. We picked a balcony cabin on the 7th deck, 7658, thinking that level will be quiet and conveniently located. My wife can’t walk long distances, so she used a transport ...

Great Ship for Weekend Getaway

I mainly chose this cruise for the convenient 2-night itinerary to Coco Cay for my daughter and I. A few of the highlights and tips: Service: everyone was friendly and helpful. I didn’t get a sense they were understaffed, which I know has been a complaint for many lines. Food: Jamie’s Italian was excellent. The buffet was decent for buffet food. They kept the stations filled even with the ...

At least I was able to see Charleston. Hurricane Nicole cancelled Coco Cay

Wanted to see Charleston SC and Coco Cay. It was ok and Poogan Porch was nice. I forgot my credit card and had some cash but not enough for whole bill. I am sending them the difference. Really didn't do a lot on the ship. Broadway shows were fine but I am not into variety and comics. The pool area is small, 2 pools so all the kids were in it most of the time. The solarium was fine but I like more ...

We ran into the hurricane. Ship floated outside of New York to Baltimore for 5 days. They did not show first run movie, made excuses for entertainment. Ran a movie at 6:pm to 9:00 pm and then there was no dinner. Had pizza at indoor pool. Food at Windjammer always cold. We usually sail NCL which has 24 hour O'Sheehans, so you can always get food. Royal needs a lot of attention, We went on ...

The good- The boat was surprisingly well decorated on the inside and was pretty. The cruise director Neil was the funniest and most entertaining cruise director we have ever had. Iwayan our cabin steward was fantastic and the bed was comfy and inside cabin was spacious. Roy, Mario and David our wait staff all were excellent. The bad- I have been on 3 cruises with carnival within the last ...

I chose this cruise because it was very affordable. I got a balcony room for my girlfriend & i. The room ended up being upgraded to a suite for free. I also bought a food excursion in the bahamas. & i maybe paid 1200$. I just wanna leave a review for 2 specific people who made our whole experience that much better. # 1. Our bahamian food tasting tour guide, captain ron!! Our excursion was on ...

The Worst Cruise Ever on a Royal Caribbean Ship

I'm a Diamond member only lacking two more cruise, I will be a Diamond +. This has been one of the worst cruises every on a Royal ship. If you going to the Buffet it's hard to find a clean plate and a napkin with silverware. The staff have been the worst ever. The food in the dining room was been great and serves has been great. Chops is great but the Shrimp Cocktail have very small shrimp instead ...
