Review for a Alaska Cruise on Celebrity Millennium

Embarkation (Seattle) Very smooth. The ship was only ½ full, so there were few lines. We were asked 4 times to show our vaccination card and proof of a negative test taken 3 days or less before the cruise. Massengers seemed very comfortable being maskless, though some wore masks in corridors and elevators. Cabin I was very impressed with the updates to the cabin since the ship was ...

We had 6 couples on our cruise to Alaska. This had been planned for two years, cancelled twice and had 3 ship changes. So it was exciting to be back on board. With a capacity of 2200 passengers, we only had 850 onboard and over 700 crew. We got spoiled with this ratio. Everyone of the crew was so excited to be there and they could not do enough for us. The waitstaff, the coffee bar attendants, the ...

Covid was never a concern and this was truly a "luxury" cruise. If going to Alaska, Celebrity should be your #1 Choice!

We chose Celebrity to Alaska because they required 95% of passengers to be completely vaccinated as well as the crew to be 100% fully vaccinated. Most cruise lines to Alaska do not require that the crew be 100% vaccinated. In fact, most cruise lines only say they comply with CDC guidelines with no specific details such as what Celebrity details on their website. Two weeks before departure ...

We were on this ship the previous month for the first sailing out of St. Marteen and gave it a 5 star review on this site. We booked this cruise after we got home since we loved the crew and ship and were excited to visit Alaska. The crew was still wonderful and still were as friendly and personable as the previous month. However, the shows were the same except for a new comedian, the ...

We were very excited to be cruising again after countless cancelled cruises due to Covid! Celebrity required 100% of their crew to be vaccinated, as well as all passengers 12 and over. Passengers were also required to submit a negative Covid test within 72 hours of boarding the ship. The crew was constantly cleaning the ship, wearing masks and the buffet was no longer serve yourself. My husband ...

Overall, a good cruise. We traveled with an 8 and 10 year old, and all involved had a pretty good time. The crew was quite good - highly engaged, friendly, and helpful. They really worked hard. Food was a mix. Appetizers and soups were typically very good. Fruits were very good. Meats were typically lower quality and overcooked. Desserts looked lovely, but were a bit bland. Breads were ...

I know that everyone is in need of a real vacation and Celebrity Millennium was there for us - Seattle, Ketchikan, Dawes Glacier, Juneau, Skagway, Seattle. We are a couple, average age 65 with 20+ cruises on Celebrity, Azamara, Oceania, Seabourn, Viking Ocean, Royal Caribbean, Princess, and Norwegian. Packing - You will need your fluffy winter jacket for the glacier; otherwise, temps required ...

We are big fans of Celebrity and Azamara. This particular cruise was in late July from Seattle to Alaska, and it was our fourth time sailing on Millennium. Let's be frank. The travel industry and trade media were focused on this FIRST major cruise ship visit to Alaska for 2021 during COVID. The crew of Millennium passed with flying colors. Frankly, this was one of our favorite cruises ever ...

My wife and I sailed on Celebrity Millennium in June from St. Maarten to the southern Caribbean. We loved that cruise so we booked on the Millennium for it's first Alaska Cruise (Post Pandemic) sailing from Seattle July 23,2021 with stops in Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway. We have sailed on Millennium before and like the vibe. The guests ranged in age from young families to seniors with a ...
