10+ Cruises

Age 70s

We chose this cruise because the last time we sailed on celebrity we had a wonderful time and rated celebrity as the top of the line. We were originally planning to sail on Norwegian but switched to the Solstice when we saw it. Big mistake. It was the most boring cruise I have ever taken. I have been on 15 cruises on 4 different lines. Celebrity is now at the bottom of my rating. The ...

We chose this cruise because of the wonderful experience we had on Infinity and of course the itinerary. Alas, this was a huge disappoint. We paid for a Royal Suite and the truth is, it was no where near worth it. Check in was appalling. First Time Cruiser

The ship is very clean and well maintained. From the first evening in the mdr, the food was consistently poor quality. We turned countless meals back. The cafe food was unattractive and tasteless. They couldn't ...

Age 90s

By way of introduction, we are a couple in our mid-80’s who bemoan the loss of consideration, politeness and gentility that so marks these times. My wife suffers from dementia so that the addition of a third party to share the care of Alice was both welcomed and important to our overall enjoyment of the cruise. We are not, by nature, gregarious people but did find several dear friends earlier on ...

Having had a wonderful cruise two years ago on Eclipse thought we would go to Hawaii have to say the Solstice is not a patch on Eclipse in every way. We knew we were in for a wait when we arrived and were told to go and take a seat and have a drink and snack, 3 hours later we were called on board only to be told that the rooms would be ready at 5.30, OK we know why they were doing this, due tot ...
