"However, anywhere else on the ship had no dairy free options- I mean how hard is it to put one of the main dining rooms sorbets in the ice cream maker in the buffet? Also, my daughter has a dairy allergy which we marked ahead of time, that I called and talked to people about ahead of time, and yet we get there and no one can deal with it, and there is no dessert option offered to this child except fresh fruit...."Read More

This was our first cruise in about 10 years and we had both kids and older adults with us. We all had a great time at each port and I’d recommend the shore excursions we did through carnival. We had no problems getting on and off at each port- seemed organized and quick. We enjoyed all of the entertainment team organized activities we did on the boat, especially the trivia games. The family feud ...

First I know reviews are opinionated by nature but I think they can be more about the experience then some really are. We traveled last week in August into September. We flew into Miami morning of cruise from NJ and had no issues. Uber to port for 19 bucks no issues. Embarkation - this was a problem only cause a bad storm came by. Being outside in lightning - not fun - being inside minutes ...

To Vista, or not to Vista, that was the question

My Lady & I have previously cruised with Carnival (5+ times each) and usually had a pretty good experience. We did our research before booking on the Vista since we heard/read about the negatives of Mega-ships (lines, impersonal crew service, lines, sold out excursions, lines, packed pools, lines, lack of lounge chairs, lines, standing room only shows at night, etc, etc). We fall into a ...

Great ship. Three out of four ports were great. We had a fun time and would go on this ship again. La Romana is a filthy, disgusting place. We did the catamaran and snorkel excursion. There is trash floating in the water everywhere. When snorkeling off of Catalina Island, there is trash floating in the water column and trash all over the reef. Plastic bags wrapped around coral. Cans and ...

Where do I begin. We had a wonderful cruise. The cruise director, Matt, is the best I have seen. He motivates people to have fun and seems like a genuinely nice guy. There were so many deck parties, dances, etc. which made this ship the most fun we have been on. However, not everyone was in fun mood. There needs to be a better way to reserve deck chairs. We were almost in fights over lack of ...

Great itinerary, top notch cruise director, all the bells & whistles offered by Carnival. The main dining room service was good but the American Table menu is HORRIBLE. The specialty restaurants were good, but we think Carnival is purposely keeping the MDR food bad to push people to the for fee restaurant choices. The entertainment was excellent...best I've seen on a Carnival ship in a few ...

Warning, this is a long review! If you want the "Cliffnote" version, yes it was amazing and, I most certainly recommend it! My wife and I booked this cruise as a "get-away" vacation, and it did not disappoint. The new Vista class from Carnival has plenty of options for all ages to enjoy every moment of vacation. The food in the main dining room, 6PM early dining, was delicious and served hot every ...

We chose the Vista mainly for it's newness and it's Southern Caribbean itinerary. We didn't want to fight the crowds and hawkers at the Bahamas and the other heavily traveled islands. This cruise hit 4 ports, Grand Turk, La Romana, Curacao and Aruba. We had only one other ship in port at Grand Turk and Curacao, making it far less crowded. Room- It is detailed below. Loved it and loved ...

First, let me say this is my first time on a cruise that was longer than 4 hrs. I jumped onboard a trip that was rescheduled from Sept 2017 with a friend's family and friends who numbered about 23 folks so I expected good times. I loved my cabin 12216 and only wish I'd taken advantage of the thermal suite prior to my last day. I enjoyed the morning stretch, yoga which was hopped up pilates and ...

We sailed on Carnival Vista with our daughter and her husband to celebrate both of our anniversaries. The ship is beautiful with many small nooks that you can find quiet time as well as a plethera of activities. The spa is well appointed and the staff in general is knowledgeable and helpful. We enjoyed the Guy Fieri burgers as well as the other poolside restaurants One thing we liked ...
