My sister and I wanted to see Cuba and I am glad we went when we did since it seems now restrictions for travel there may be put back in place very soon.
The ship is older and smaller but went through renovations last year. Rooms were adequate in size but no sofa or table and a very small desk area. We ended up rearranging the 2 beds from side by side set up, which gave almost no clearance ...
We chose this cruise on the Carnival Paradise for one reason and one reason only - CUBA. The itinerary was exactly what we were looking for: only 5 days as we were leaving our 4 year old home w/ the grandparents and two ports Havana and Key West (which we also love).
SHIP:
We had not cruised on a Fantasy class ship in over 10 years, so I wasn't sure how we would like it compared to the ...
This was a cruise to a place I always dreamed of visiting - CUBA. That was the highlight of the cruise. Embarkation went very smoothly. We had a 12 show time and we were on board eating and playing cards by 12:30. Due to an serious fall, my niece broke her leg and rented a knee scooter which met the size requirements of Carnival. It was to be in the room by 2pm. At 2:15 we entered the room and ...
We are a couple in our mid 60's and we had a wonderful time on the Fun Ship Paradise
Our Cabin Steward Ketut was awesome during our B2B cruises. We had him for both cabins & his friendly greeting calling us by name was a pleasant surprise. We chose late cabin service, but the ice for the day was always there when we got back from breakfast.
The cabin U198 was smaller than anticipated for a ...
I chose this to see Cuba and was not disappointed. Carnival Paradise is an older ship but well maintained. Food was good everywhere, shows may not been comparable to some other lines but were entertaining, especially the comedians. Staff and service was top notch.
We live near the port of embarkation and that went very smoothly. Our cabin and cabin steward were as expected and/or exceeded ...
Although the Paradise is a older ship, she has been recently remodeled and overall we found it to be a very nice vessel. The kids loved the water park and there was always enough room there. Our room steward Gusti took great care of us and always had a smile and friendly words. The wait for the Elation dining hall was a little excessive at times but once inside the staff was top notch and worked ...
Why I booked this cruise-
After going on 2 other carnival cruises, I decided to book this cruise with my tax return in January. As a single mom of two boys ages 7 and 12 finances can be tight, but after comparing cruise dates and itineraries for over 2 weeks I knew exactly which one I was going to book. I chose The sailing on May 21st because it was my kids last few days of school and was ...
This was our 8th or so cruise and we had so much fun despite the weather. The stateroom stewards ask what would be an ideal time for them to enter the room to clean and not disturb anyone which is a plus. The cruise director Leon knows how to keep a party going and things up beat at all times, outstanding job on his behalf. Our children along with my relatives children had a blast at camp carnival ...
I just got back from a 5 day trip to Grand Cayman and Cozumel on the Paradise.
It is an older ship and as such, the rates are cheaper. Overall, the crew was awesome. Never had to tell a crew member my name twice and they used it every time. Are the rooms dated? Yes, but the cabin stewards did their best to keep everything clean and fresh.
Food: It was your typical cruise fare. There were several ...
I am a very experienced and well travelled female and I enjoyed every minute of my recent cruise on Paradise. The initial cost is fantastic & they make their money on add ons so you can make it as cheap as you want & $300 for five nights is about the best deal around!!! So people want everything for nothing???
The service on this ship was exemplary. Never once did I not feel like I was treated as ...
