Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

The short version: A great cruise with wonderful food, and exciting excursions. Try the “3 Specialty Restaurants for $35” pass! The Maya Island excursion on Roatan was relaxing and the rehab animals were amazing. The Rendezvous Quay Excursion in Belize is Great! Friday, April 22 - We decided that instead of paying for parking, we would stay at a park-and-cruise hotel in Galveston. This turned ...

Awesome girls weekend cruise!

We decided to take advantage of the long weekend to book a 3-night cruise for President’s Day. The price was definitely right, and we had four people in two cabins—one inside and one balcony, both on the 6th floor. I am writing this review because so few reviews are written for the shorter cruises, and I love reading them! Transportation: Flew into LGB much too early on Friday—sleep in a ...

We cruised Vista because we had a massive amount of onboard credit from a cruise being cancelled. We went with our only daughter. We had two daughters but lost one to Covid in 2020. Love Vista. Maybe because we had so much money to spend, but it was great. The food was wonderful. Shows were great. The Diamond and Platinum Reunion was amazing. We had not been on a Carnival ship in about 2 ...

We love to cruise in the winter, and normally try to do an early December cruise. However, we couldn't book that early and got the first one we could in January. Covid made the cruise feel terribly empty. Now I enjoyed the fact that there were no lines for anything anywhere, but I also love the crowds, so there were pros and cons. That being said, the people on board were amazing (as always). ...

Galveston - We checked in at the Carnival reception table at the airport, it was at the far end of baggage claim. When we arrived at the port there was a long line for our arrival time, 12-12:30. They moved us through pretty quickly. There were dozens of dolphins in port both at sail away and when we arrived back at 8am on the following Saturday morning. We were originally booked on the ...

This cruise was offered as a packaged deal and was too good to pass up. 1st tie for a cruise and wanted a 4 day one. It had all I wanted(not too long, one day in Cozumel). Embarkation: Not a problem at all. Dropped off the luggage at the terminal, parked the car and shuttled back to check in. Not a difficult process even with having to show a recent negative test. Cruise: Very smooth from ...

We chose this cruise due to timing and price. The cruise was really nice except for the rain (which I can't blame on Carnival) and we were always able to find seating for shows and a chaise by the pool, probably because it was 60% full! Our biggest surprise was the entertainment in the Scarlet Dining Room. Besides the waiters singing for us, on both Elegant Nights we were treated to performances ...

We cruised on the Vista in 2019 and had an extended aft cabin and loved it. This time we booked a spa cabin on 14 since the afts were booked.. Occupancy was 40-50% and you could feel the difference. There were no lines and getting on and off the ship was a breeze. We made our appointment at CVS and did the one hour antigen test, screen shot it and printed it. We did early dining and always ...

Stayed on deck 11 in spa suite… that’s the ONE thing, but first with the positive. The Carnival Vista Rock Band absolutely a must see… we spent lots of time listening and dancing… Amazing group.
