Queen Elizabeth didn't disappoint we were apprehensive about our cabin 1001 on deck one, but it was spacious and very clean with a big picture window. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, with the best linen I have ever seen on a cruise ship.

That said our embarkation was relatively painless. No problems with photo's or credit card details, but a number of other passengers who embarked in Brisbane did have those problems.

We had 13 nights which was certainly enough. Our only other cruise was with Cunard and the difference is startling. The pressure to buy drinks, especially by the pool, was at times insolent.
The food was standard British fare, plenty of potatoes, at least two different ways every meal, well that will fill you up. Chips everywhere.
