Booked Grandeur for the Western Caribbean itinerary and the fact we can drive to the port. We were fans of Explorer of the Seas and after having sailed on Quantum, we weren't sure what to expect from this sailing. Just disembarked from the Granduer this AM. This is the oldest and smallest ship in the RCCL fleet but it has a lot of character! Does it need some work...yes, but that doesn't mean it's not a great ship. The interior cabin was a tad small but it sufficed. Didn't like the shower curtain but hopefully this will change with the upcoming redo.

We were on the Grandeur the 21th if Feb. for 10 nights, we got the ship in Baltimore.
There was a big mess up with our tables, they had my sister and her friend at a table for two, and my husband and me at a table for four, we were supposed to be at a table for ten, after two hours we got that took care of.

We wanted an inexpensive winter get away, so we decided to try an inside stateroom from Baltimore (driving distance) and to treat ourselves to the speciality restaurants with the savings.
