Wonderful Mediterranean Cruise

This was a wonderful trip although I would hesitate to go back during the Christmas/Ephiphany holiday as we lost two stops along the way due to the holiday. Having said that, Viking made it very nice to celebrate on the ship. We had a nice Christmas, a fun New Year’s Eve and an amazing spread on New Year’s Day. I would not take any other cruise line again after sailing with Viking. This was ...

A great way to see the historic sights in Greece

We were interested in this cruise because we had never been to Greece or Turkey and were excited to follow the journey of the Apostle Paul. We booked a guaranteed verandah cabin and let Viking choose our particular stateroom and were thrilled to have been upgraded to the 6th deck in a lovely midship deluxe verandah cabin. Our stateroom, the service and food and beverage choices and the entire ship ...

While most of us were disappointed in not being able to visit The Holy Lands - we certainly understood and found Malta to be an excellent alternative. We thoroughly enjoyed the Greek islands and had wonderful excursions with the exception of Cyprus. The excursion in Cyprus was interesting but it seemed as if there was little pride in the island - many abandoned residential and commercial ...

I sailed with them before on a river cruise the year before and loved it. Although the ports of call were changed due to the conflict in Israel, we were very happy with the replacement ports of Cyprus and Malta. The ship’s crew was fantastic. Always helpful and smiling. The ship itself is beautiful. The shore excursions (both included and optional) were great selections. Our only wish was that ...

We chose this cruise because it offered the opportunity to see many of the world’s finest cities, cultures, and historic landmarks in comfort and security. Viking delivered on promises of elegant ship design, culinary excellence, quality of staff, and excursion management. Everything was first class yet simple and understated. We also chose Viking to handle our air travel and transfers and were ...

We chose Viking Cruise because several of our friends raved about their adventures with Viking; some had visited Antarctica, Alaska, Africa, the Mediterranean, and China (Explorer, Ocean, & River). In short, we loved our first cruise with Viking and your team made the experience fun, entertaining, informative, cultural, easy, and very memorable. We boarded the Viking Sky in September of 2023 in ...

We had been on a Viking river cruise in 2022 and wanted to try a Viking Ocean cruise vessel. We had only done the small river cruise and a small ship trip in Bora Bora. We were worried that 900 people would feel so crowded. It didn't the ship never felt super crowded with lines anywhere. This itinerary started in Athens and ended in Venice. We were excited about the Greek and Croatia ...

I have always been interested in classical history and philosophy and its influence on modern day society. I was not disappointed! Each port visit included aspects of history I’ve studied. I also visited sites of Christian apostles. The guides for the excursions were informative and friendly. The food and service on board was top-notch, especially Manfreddy’s and the Chef’s table. The World Cafe ...

I chose this cruise because I had never been to Greece or Turkey before. I was also very interested in the shore excursions that were offered and found every one of them as interesting as they were portrayed. The dining was exceptional and the staff went above and beyond. Our penthouse suite came with all the amenities and more. I can not say enough about Viking and their cruises, ocean or river. ...

This was our first cruise and chose Viking because of their reputation. We had friends who took other Viking cruise’s and raved about the experience. Viking did not disappoint us in any way from the flight reservations, airport arrangements, picking us up at the airport, luggage transfers, and hotel rooms. The experience on the ship was fabulous and the staff was more than friendly and ...
