Celebrity Silhouette: Atlantis Charter

We love Celebrity and we love Atlantis. Last year we tried Oceania Marina, loved the food and the cabin but she's not as impressive as the Solstice Class. This was our first time Silhouette. 10 Day Cruise from Amsterdam to Barcelona. Celebrity has definitely upped their game with the food. We found the food to be noticeably improved from our Equinox sailing 2 years ago. We especially ...

This was a 14 day charter cruise from Amsterdam to Barcelona. Embarkation: Embarkation at Amsterdam was remarkably efficient and a master class in organisation. From memory, the time from arriving at the kerb to cabin door was about 40 minutes. The cuisine: We tried three of the specialty restaurants and rated the French restaurant - Murano very highly. The service was impeccable, the ...

We chose this cruise because it was Celebrity and it was going to ports and cities that we haven't been to as this was our 5th cruise with them and it was as expected up to the Celebrity standard in most things except the dining was nowhere as good as before and as the waiters told us they have taken a lot of the better dishes off the menu and put the main three dishes people expect on different ...

Well-run and a great crew but dining experience a disappointment

I chose this cruise since I wished to participate in an Abraham-Hicks program, as I had done at this time in 2014 (Canary Islands) on another Celebrity cruise. While I enjoyed the first cruise very much I was not as happy this time. However, first the good news: - All crew/staff members were great and there seemed to be a good camaraderie on board which made it pleasurable for all guests. - ...

This was our 3rd cruise on Celebrity but have been on many other cruises, mostly with Princess but also with Seabourn, Holland America and Royal Carribbean. This cruise was 12 days from Amsterdam to Rome in early September with stops in Bruges, Bilbao,Lisbon,Cadiz, Gibraltar,Cartagena, Palma, Mallorca, Florence and Rome. The embarkation was one of the quickest we have ever had. We got to ...

First time on celebrity had a great time, loved the ship it was very laid back and relaxing never noticed beds being reserved on decks as on other ships. Loved the lawn club, didn't see the need for a lawn at sea but it was like the icing on the cake. The only negative we found was that it wasn't always clear how much the extras were, for example Pilates or yoga classes would have an * or ** beside ...

My husband and I planned this cruise almost two years ago while we were on a Panama Canal cruise on the Infinity. The big attraction was that the itinerary included so many ports we had never experienced, including an embarkation from Amsterdam where we had never visited before. We are frequent cruisers, primarily on Celebrity, so were familiar with Silhouette and consider it one of our favorite ...

I chose the cruise because it went to new places I haven't been to before: Belgium, Bilbao, Gibraltar, and Cartagena. i also had the opportunity to visit Pisa. Just seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa "in the flesh" was something I could not fail to miss in my lifetime. Ditto for actually seeing the Rock of Gibraltar. I chose a Concierge Class cabin on Deck 12 so that I could be closer to the ...

Amsterdam to Rome September 3rd to 15th. Very good cruise and the staff was excellent. We travelled Concierge class and will have to revisit the benefits of that, in fact I saw every few. The free bottle of sparkling wine was not there, the daily appies consisted of olives, bread and some type of paste spread...we canceled that after a few days. Better to go to the buffet and grab cheese etc ...

Itinerary was superb. The only criticism was the quality of the speciality dining room. Did not enjoy the Tuscan grille. Food was mediocre & much better quality in the main dining room. Was expecting much more! We had booked a package of 3 different speciality dining experiences & felt we had wasted our money. The cabin staff were suburb & felt nothing was too much trouble. The captain was great & ...
