The Majestic is one of the latest ships in the Princess lineup , so we thought we would give it a try. Embarkation was smooth and quick. We decided to bid for an upgrade from a balcony to a Deluxe balcony cabin , our bid was successful but we found out that the couple in the adjacent cabin just asked for an upgrade equal to ours and were given it (free). BEWARE!!!!. The cabin was ...

We had Australia and New Zealand as the last of the Continents tht we have visited. We arrived for a pre-cruse experience. We expected a long flight from New Hampshire, and it was. When we arrived, as a few others did for this cruise, we could not fdind the Representative for Viking. Of course finally we did. The HOtel was excellent and the service there was above great. After that we headed to ...

We have sailed with Oceania on 4 previous occasions and always enjoyed it - good company, great food, excellent service - cabins are definitely small but we don't spend much time in our cabins. Check in line was long and hot, Had to retrieve our own luggage from hallway, 20 doors down, Duct taped hair dryer and tiny showers...must share 1 wifi per room unless want to purchase another, large emphasis on 180 day cruise and booking again, no compensation for 2 cancelled ports due to weather...(even $50 onboard credit would have been nice)..educational presentations were limited to geology ...

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. If only we had done the research first! Our cruise from Sydney to Southampton started with a very long queue, despite having "priority" boarding as suite passengers. There was no "priority", we were queued up with everybody else, and was surprised at how many people had turned up earlier than their advised embarkation time. Not a huge problem and certainly not ...

Review for a U.S.A. Cruise on Queen Victoria

My wife and I joined the Queen Victoria on the 11th March 2015 for the return passage to New York, arriving on the 25th April 2015. It was my present to her for her 70th birthday as a once in a lifetime experience. Whilst I must commend the ship for its presentation, the quality of the food and the service provided to the "guests" as Cunard wish to call us, there were faults in the ...
