Regent Didn't Dissapoint

I’ve read numerous reviews about Regent claiming they have slipped and are no longer a true luxury line. Don’t believe it for a minute! We sailed on the Seven Seas Voyager from Cape Town to Rio and LOVED our crossing. We booked a Penthouse Suite, one of the smaller suites with a Butler, and were totally impressed with the cabin, the service, the food, and yes, even the aging ship which is ...

Took our first Regent cruise (a TA, lots of sea days), earlier this month. Just returned this past week. It was a 14-day cruise. Overall, it was very good. Embarkation was less chaotic than most, but still chaotic. We were advised prior to our cruise that the original embarkation time we had been given had been pushed back by an hour and a half because the Coast Guard had to inspect the ship. No ...

My wife and I wanted to do a transatlantic voyage and decided to do it on Seven Seas Voyager. We had previously gone on a 7-day Mediterranean cruise on Voyager in 2018. We noticed significant improvements compared with the 2018 cruise. First, the food is substantially improved in all of the venues. They also have added an Italian restaurant, Sette Mari, and have an excellent afternoon tea ...

This was my husband's and my first cruise with RSSC and we had high expectations - and let me state this first: they were met in most fields. When we arrived at CPT airport the port agent wasn't informed of the number of people arriving. Therefore, we had to share a minibus with every seat taken and, although it had a luggage trailer behind it, I had to take my carry-on suitcase on my knees ...

I recently sailed on a trans-Atlantic voyage and a western Med cruise. I had a Grand Suite for the first segment and a Penthouse Suite on the second leg. Both staterooms were equipped with a bluetooth Bose speaker. I enjoy listening to my own playlists on Spotify. If you do too, I recommend that you download your favorites before leaving home as streaming services are blocked once you're on ...

From the moment we were greeted at embarkation to the moment we left the ship our experience was one of total enjoyment, comfort, respect and outstanding service. Our suite was kept immaculate, Our Butler was one of if not the best in all our years of sailing. Dining was a pleasure and fine dining is the best description. The preparation and special requests were outstanding and innovative. ...

Regent Voyager Transatlantic sailing from Ft. Lauderdale to Reykjavik, Iceland May 15, 2010 This spring my husband reminded me it had been 16 years since we had vacationed alone together without our children. 2010 marked a big anniversary and my husband's 50th birthday - both warranted a special vacation. Cruising has long been our vacation of choice, and we been cruising for more than 20 years, ...

Where do I even begin to describe the best cruise we have been on? I guess, like everyone else, I need to start at the beginning. GETTING THERE Getting from Washington State to Cape Town, South Africa is a daunting task. We used Regent Air (with a deviation so we could arrive a day early and select our own hotel). We flew British Airways Business Class from Vancouver to Heathrow. . .had a ...

We boarded the Voyager in Monte Carlo on November 3 and disembarked in Ft. Lauderdale on November 19. Our sixteen day journey included port stops in Barcelona (overnight), Valencia, Malaga, Casablanca, Agadir, Lanzarote (Canary Islands) and Funchal (Island of Madeira) and eight nights crossing the Atlantic Ocean on the southern route. The seas were moderate throughout most of our sixteen day ...

My husband and I sailed on the Voyager from Civitavecchia, Italy to Fort Lauderdale, Florida on November 4th. This was our second cruise on this ship this year (previously to the Baltic in June). It was also somewhat of a "President's cruise" since two Executive Vice Presidents from Regent and other staff were on board, which made it rather special. Prior to sailing we stayed for two nights at the ...
