As wary cruisers we wondered if we were risking too much committing to a 29 day cruise? Not a problem at all! We selected a cabin midship with no balcony and found we had plenty of options to sit quietly on deck if we chose to. I fear we are now spoiled for any other cruise line. We set off from New York at the beginning of the month and returned home to Scotland on 25th September. BA to San Francisco (their standards aren't what they used to be!), and excellent overnight accommodation in the Four Seasons (one to return to).
