Before I go into the bad, let's do this sandwich style, like a formal review - good, bad, good. Good - the entertainment! Dru Pavlov and his entire entertainment team were absolutely amazing and engaging and provided shows that were Broadway-quality. The shows were varied and there was something to do every night. There was also an amazing Teen Club program that had lots of fun activities, ...

WOW; What a Disappointment!

We are Diamond level members with Royal Carribean and really looked forward to this new and exciting ship. It was one delay or excuse after another, starting with a 4 hour delay to board the ship and another 3-4 hours to get our luggage. The ship is beautiful and has many technology features not found on other ships. Unfortunately, no one seems to know how to use the technology! The ships ...

My husband and I chose a cruise with Royal Caribbean as our honeymoon, and were disappointed beyond all belief. To start off our trip, we boarded at 2:00 and were not able to get into our rooms until 2 hours later, my husbands luggage was delivered to the wrong room, and mine was not delivered at all which resulted in my husband going to the unattended luggage room and pulling my bag himself at ...

My wife and I booked this cruise with my boss and co-workers family's. This was our 10th Royal Caribbean cruise (best ship is the Allure hands down). We departed Cape Liberty New Jersey. It's the first time we've drove to the ship as we usually fly to Florida but this time the location lent itself to driving it from Michigan. Great choice. The drive was great and the parking is so easy at the ...

Horrible and Expensive Nightmare

This review is of course going to all be based on the fact that I got sick but its a combination of a lot during this cruise that also helped make it a miserable vacation. This ship is all media hyped. The dynamic dining is atrocious and only causes a whole lot of confusion and disorganization. A quick example would be Chops grill. This is a restaurant where you have to pay to dine there. My ...

DON'T DO IT!

Everything is a waiting game that is expected, newer is not always better. However, when porting your seated by representatives who do not pay attention. People that where seated last where served first. I've been cruising for a while and this has been my worst experience. They tried to do more with less. They ran out of ice, they ran out of soda. The food was disgusting. What ever was left over, ...

There was plenty of food and it was pretty good. The service was even better. The only issue with service was when we got to our room. We were traveling with 3 young kids all under 9, we were suppose to have adjoining rooms. After going to front desk and explaining our situation they claimed there is nothing that they can do being that the ship was fully booked. The only solution was to give my ...

A Huge Letdown

After reading many of the "good" reviews here, maybe our experience was just an "off week" for this cruise. Having been on over 60 cruises and Diamond level with RCCL, we had a very good idea of what to expect and what not to expect on this voyage. However, the bad far outweighed the good experiences here. We found the food quality and service in all of the speciality restaurants to be great, ...

Very, Very, Disappointed

This suppososed high tech Royal Carribbean "Smart Ship" was unfortunately pretty "Dumb". Computer related problems with boarding/departing, drink package, restaurant reservations, etc., led to delay, mis-charges, long lines and a publicly demoralized, exasperated crew. Add to this mostly, at best, acceptable food, in both "free" and up-charge restauants and the elimination of waiter-friendly "Main ...

I am a Diamond member and have been on over 10 cruises with Royal Caribbean. Dynamic Dining just didn't work, angry people who had to wait for over an hour to be seated plus we had trouble getting reservations at the better restaurants. It was a nightmare as waiters couldn't use their ipads correctly to get the orders in correctly. Service was slow. Gone is the waiter, assistant waiter, and ...
