This was our fourth cruise with Royal Caribbean! We have cruised with other competitors and after those experiences decided we would go back with Royal. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the ship, service, friendly staff, good food, Chops specialty dining, Johnny Rockets, the Cupcake decorating class was lots of fun. We love RC and have cruised with them three years in a row, plus a few in the last 30. The staff is amazing and always smiling. The food this year was five stars better than the past two years. I chose this cruise because of the water slides for my daughter. The ship is terrible. Even in calm water the ship rocks back and forth incessantly. I asked 4 times for the bed to be tolerable. They put an extra comforter on the bed. It was brand new and hard as a rock. Liberty is our favorite ship and we were not disappointed. We live in Texas so we drove down the day before. We stayed Sat night in League City (about 35 min from Galveston). Rooms there are much less expensive. However, if you have not been to Galveston go for it! This was a cruise for our 5th Wedding Anniversary. We got a junior suite. The experience of having your own balcony is amazing, but the junior suite is even nicer.
