Sailed last week with Royal Caribbean for the first time. After 3 cruises with Carnival, I really wanted to try Royal Caribbean to have another cruise line to compare Carnival to. Was so looking forward to this trip and the beautiful Liberty of the Seas (which I heard wonderful reviews about). Going to make this a quick review of the good, bad, and really awful. Positives: Called a few days before ...

Another couple joined my SO and I on this elongated weekend getaway from Tampa, FL. Living in State, we drove to the port, parked in the garage directly across the street ($60 as opposed to $80 for Valet which our friends did), and boarded around 1 p.m. As Crown and Anchor Platinum members, the waiting line was short, the staff friendly and helpful. Day 1 consisted of lunch at the buffet, ...

Let me say first that if you are checking out these reviews wondering whether or not to sail the Brilliance or sail to Cozumel, YESSSSSSS, Go sign up and then head back here to read my review! We are from St. Augustine so instead of making the 3 hour drive the morning of embarkation we decided to stay the night in Tampa the night before. Well worth it. We got to the port around 10:15 a.m. We used ...

Have cruised 6 times on RC first time on brilliance of the seas and this was by far one of the best cruises i have ever had, this mid size ship was just the right size for 2300 passengers, from the boarding which only took 8 minutes. The dining experience was one of the best i have ever had, we ordered the Main Lobster on the last night in the Minstrel Dining room It was superb and well worth the ...

Myself and 10 friends went on a 4-night Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas Cruise in February 2014. The ship was beautiful, the food was very good and the staff in the formal dining area and the cabin stewards were very friendly, but the bar service staff were not. Right off the bat you could tell what changes the drink packages made. There were not many people going around with drinks trays (and ...

First a little about my cruise background – this is my third cruise. The first was on Norwegian Spirit in 2011, Carnival Magic in 2013 and now Navigator of the Seas – Feb 2014. I was traveling with a group of entertainers for a jazz/blues/r&b cruise organized by a group of travel agents. From the time we arrived on the recently out of dry dock Navigator of the Seas, it was a communications ...
