The food was good the service was very good all the staff was very attentive about the meal and they checked on every on at the table to make sure every thing was presented well and tasted very good. The ships interior was kept up very well but the exterior needed much work such as paint and windows also needed cleaning. The cabins were very clean the rugs wear old but in good shape the ...

Quick Five Day Cruise to Bermuda

We wanted to do a quick cruise for my summer vacation from school and wanted to avoid flying. Driving to Baltimore from our home in Virginia was relatively quick and easy and we arrived a bit later then we usually do (12 ish) and parking was fairly quick. We always avoid the porters and carry our luggage on and off the ship. The embarkation was very, very quick and the line was very short. As ...

My husband and I took our three grown grandchildren on a 9 day New England/Canada on Grandeur of the Seas leaving on July 5, 2018. Positives: Weather was great, Baltimore is an easy port to access and park, our cabin attendant and waiters were wonderful and the food very good. Diamond club and the designated diamond breakfast area were excellent. We did all ports independently...each grandchild ...

We went into Baltimore two days prior to the cruise, both to ensure no travel problems and to have a full day to explore Baltimore. Embarkation was good, although we apparently had priority boarding through AAA, yet it was not noticed and we had to stand in line, which took about an hour. Cabin was clean and nice and as expected. Bathroom is small compared to Disney but we knew that going into ...

The cruise itself was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful staff, very clean and great entertainment. Good food choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner in Windjammer and enjoyed our 'dress up' nights and service in Great Gatsby. July 4th celebration was a lot of fun and a nice tribute to veterans and first responders. Boarding and departure process went smoothly. Wasn't impressed with area ...

This was my first cruise. I knew this wasn't the biggest or newest ship in their fleet. Before getting on the ship I felt like the cruise line was nickle and diming me for things like upgraded beverage packages, mandatory gratuity, wifi access, etc. I tried to keep an open mind. The line in the parking lot to embark was long and tedious due the bottle neck of stopping to drop off luggage before ...

Our first cruise on Grandeur and it lived up to our expectations. Ship, crew and the service was outstanding. We did not want for anything and were treated exceptionally well in the dining room, the windjammer, and the bars and casino. For a short 5 day cruise The amenities and activities were spot on.The Shore excursion to Horseshoe Bay was brilliant. the ability to stay up late on shore ...

I had some trouble getting adjustments made to my final bill in the area of gratuities. Apparently communication was an issue. Ultimately, it was straightened out before I left the ship. The majority of the ships staff were wonderful and well mannered. However, there was one young man who was working in the Photo Center who made an inappropriate advance towards me. I did not look at him long ...

I enjoyed the cruise. The port in Baltimore is fantastic. Easy on easy off. Fast lines. It was great. The ship is in good condition. Our room was mid ship third deck outside cabin. Plenty of room and storage. But no mini-fridge. We were a group of 20 headed to Bermuda for a wedding. All agreed the service was very good. Meals were good to excellent. They did make effort to correct anything ...

Mid-May 2018 New England from Baltimore on Grandeur of the Seas

The Grandeur of the Seas - 9 days to New England / Canada This is an overview of my May 2018 cruise and my second cruise on the Grandeur. First – embarkation and debarkation is fast and the port of Baltimore has this process down. The ship is old but the crew is constantly cleaning or painting something. However, on the promenade deck 5, the metal ceiling panels are pretty rusty and showing ...
