Living room with double sofa bed, baby grand piano, CD/DVD library, two TVs, dining room, private balcony with hot tub and dining area, separate bedroom with king-size bed and walk-in-closet, luxury bath with whirlpool tub and separate shower and guest bathroom. Butler service and concierge available.
This trip was to celebrate a milestone anniversary. We reserved the Deluxe Owner's Suite, there's only one on the ship, and it is enormous and fabulous in every way! It was clean, spacious, had a player piano, a butler's pantry, a bar, a walk in closet, living room, dining room, King bed, desk, tons of storage, a huge bathroom and a second half bath (which became a golf club storage closet for us.) The suite was much too large for 2 people but we used up every comfortable inch of it. The deck alone was 2 times the size of the first cruise cabin we stayed in 13 years ago. In the suite we were privileged to accept 3 bottles of wine, champagne, various sodas and bottled water, a selection of bed pillows and some other things I can't even remember, which I chose about 60 days in advance from a list which was sent to me via email from an NCL concierge. The furnishings were quite comfortable inside the suite and on the deck. The deck has a large hot tub which we used twice and would have liked to use more but were very busy all week. During the first use we discovered the heater did not work properly in the hot tub. But since you fill the tub before you soak with hot water, it was fine for us for the 20 minutes we were in it. We mentioned the heater issue to our butler, Pat, and it was repaired the following day. There are loads of towels for showering as well as several pool towels in the room, cozy robes and slippers, glass stemware for wine and champagne, a corkscrew, ice replenished daily, a Nespresso Coffee machine with coffee pods, fresh flowers, fresh fruit, lovely little canapé snacks, all at your fingertips. The towel animals on the bed each evening are delightful! We were served by our butler and her "trainee", a multi-course anniversary dinner on our balcony complete with wine and anniversary cake under the full moon. The views from this suite to see the lava flow off the Big Island coast are incredible. There are binoculars provided in the desk area in the bedroom for your personal use. The Captain turned the ship so that both sides of the ship could view the Napali Coast, so we able to view that beautiful site, complete with double rainbow, from our balcony too! Could not fathom a single complaint. We absolutely received what we paid for, I am thrilled to say! Read entire member review >>
Our Oceanview Cabin was excellent for us. Our last cruise on POA in Hawaii was great, but we made the mistake of getting an inside cabin. I now realise my wife likes to know if it is day or night, when she wakes up.The size of our cabin was good, size didn't really matter, as didn't spend much time in their, only to sleep. So much to enjoy up on deck. Read entire member review >>
