We decided to sail the Prima this past week, Feb. 5-12 for my husband’s 50th birthday present. We had 3 balcony rooms and 6 family members. We were in rooms: 10938,10940,10942. We have sailed NCL many times before and up until this cruise had been loyal members for over 20 years to NCL. Let me start off this post by saying I see so many members here saying you should just be thankful you ...

We chose the NCL PRIMA because we wanted to experience a brand new ship. While spaces are lovely to look at , most of the seating is uncomfortable, the outdoor fabric furniture is already filthy or shredded. Our ship was full and every venue was crowded or sold out. The pools and sun decks were uncomfortably crowded , especially on the sea days. Shows in the theater are sold out because the ...

After cruising on different cruise lines we wanted to have a Norwegian cruise experience. Ship looked pretty attractive and we decided to give it a try. We regret spending time with and on norwegian escape due to poor service, junk food, overcrowded ship, one sided entertainment, and more negative things. We had reservations for restaurants - never worked. We came to a line of about seventy ...

I got what a thought was a great deal on a 7nt cruise. It was terrible. Cabin was nice, but we were given 1 towel each day. Had to track down steward for a 2nd every day. Cabin took forever to be cleaned. I'm glad the muster drill was not a real emergency (we would have drowned). you can't have almost 4,000 people on 2 sets of stairs. Once we were at our muter station it was wall to ...

We were supposed to be travelling with a friend and booked within his group. This friend and us had a falling out previous to the sail date but the good news is this ship is so big we didn't see him at all for 7 days! We got a balcony suite, 15th floor in the middle. It was perfect! The shower was bigger than I remembered while on a previous cruise years ago. We had requested vegan diet and ...

So Disappointed!

We have cruised on several other cruise lines, and this by far was our worst experience. In talking to other guests it seemed to be the consensus. Service overall on the entire ship was fair. I was charged for a bingo game that I did not attend, and come to find out didn't even exist. It took 4 times to guest services to get it fixed. The people in guest services were very hard to understand, and ...

I purchased cruise credits a year ago and regret it, now I have to use them up. I have one more Norwegian cruise coming up in April but after that I will never sail on Norwegian again. I have so many things I dislike about this Cruise line. Food is honestly awful, very plain I am not sure if they have a cheese shortage or just trying to save money and push customers to pay extra for the ...

At least once a year my sisters and my daughter plan a special trip to celebrate being together, as we live apart all year. This year we decided to travel on the Prima because we were looking forward to seeing the new ship and my sister has owned a condominium in Cozumel for years, so the itinerary was appealing. I knew it was going to be crowded, as I have never traveled over New Year's, but I ...

Worst cruise ship!!

Horrible Cruise ship, same food everyday, nothing to do since day one. Everything was booked to include specialty restaurants. First time we played monopoly in a cruise since there’s nothing to do. I will never cruise NCL ever again. Even their private island was horrible. 40 minutes in line just to buy a beer no where to seat, etc. don’t waste your money and pick either Carnival or Royal ...

My husband and I have cruised Norwegian Cruise Lines exclusively for the past 16 years. We have sailed the Dawn, Gem, Escape, Breakaway, Joy and now Prima. Bermuda has always been our favorite destination (7 day from NY), so we decided to do something different. We booked this cruise shortly after returning home from our Summer 2022 cruise, and were very excited to “cruise into the New Year ...
