A great cruise to get back to cruising on

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Norwegian Dawn

This was our first cruise back after the Pandemic slowed down. Once we cleared the mandatory Covid test at the port we boarded quickly and with lots of well wishes from the staff we passed. The ship was spotlessly clean. The staff was extremely happy to have us on board! There were only about 900 passengers on board, so there was never a wait for anything. Restaurants had immediate seating, ...

We chose this cruise to sail with friends and because t was a good time to be away from Illinois. We love cruising on NCL and this cruise was no exception. There was plenty of room by the pool if you wanted sun, or no sun. We enjoyed the entertainment, as well. We never experienced a problem with service, of any kind. We found the bartenders were were very attentive. I was pleased with the ...

Highly recommend the Dawn - Great Service - Great Vacation!

We chose this cruise because it was a re-positioning cruise with multiple ports we had not been to, many sea days which we love and because it was on the Dawn and we had done a repo cruise 2 years ago and LOVED it. What makes the ship and this trip so great? The officers and crew who go out of their way to make sure you're having a great time. The ship is not too big so you have the ...

Amazing Cruise

We chose this cruise because of the length and locations it was going too. We had never been to the Western Caribbean. Since we had a Family Suite with a balcony we received the privilages that come with this. Once we arrived at the pier we looked for the location where people in Suites checked in. They first tried having us go in line with everyone else but I knew better so I looked around and ...

Nola Reposition Cruise - is 12 days too much??

Twelve days is NOT too much, we LOVED IT!! We chose this cruise because we always wanted to do a reposition cruise. Leaving out of NOLA allowed us to visit with family who live there and arriving back in Boston sealed the deal since this is where we live. Thanks to our niece and nephew, we got to see a great deal of New Orleans via walking and by car the day before the cruise. It is s beautiful ...

Repositioning to Boston 2017

Flew to New Orleans to take the ship which ended in Boston where I live. Everything was perfect.. Very attentive butler. We were in a suite which was a great experience. Taking a suite is just not the better cabin, but all of the perks that come along with it. Every move you make is a priority over everyone else on the ship. A suite is the only way to cruise. Norwegian did it up perfectly. ...

NOLA to Boston Repositioning

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Norwegian Dawn

This is about the 5th time we have done a Dawn repositioning from New Orleans to Boston, or the fall reverse. As always, we find the repositioning to be a great value, as well as the added advantage of walking off the ship and being home in 40 minutes without the hassle of boarding a plane. Our goal on vacation is sleep late, drink lots, and eat good food. This cruise fulfilled all the above. ...

Have elderly family - nearly the last of my father's side of the family - living near Boston and try to visit a couple of times a year. Options are flight to Logan (from where I live in the Florid Panhandle) for a couple of days visit...or an ugly slog up I-10 and I-95 (or I-85 and I-95 for a couple of days each way. A couple of years ago I saw a re-positioning of the RCI Serenade of the Seas ...

One last 10 day cruise before Dawn went to dry dock

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Dawn

A friend & I booked this cruise, because the itinerary sounded interesting. It was a special 10 day itinerary created when NCL found out the Dawn's dry dock had been postponed. We were excited to visit 6 ports in 10 days. The only disappointment was that it was supposed to visit the new Harvest Caye Belize, which is not ready yet, so we ended up in Belize City, which is not 1 of my favorites. It ...

We have been on the Dawn before and we have done this itinerary before, but we were looking for a nice relaxing cruise and this was it. We loved the Dawn the first time and nothing changed with this trip. The staff was terrific all around. We even ran into some staff from the previous time and this was great. We simply can't say enough about how we love NCL. We were in an aft facing penthouse ...
