Avoid NCL Service is going down the Tube!!

Review for a Asia Cruise on Norwegian Jewel

NCL is going down the drain. Disorganized embarkation. People running everywhere. Was told to leave luggage at the curb. 2 Pieces of luggage arrived at 5 pm the 3rd one at 10 pm. Disembarkation was a total nightmare. Luggage was supposed to be there at 8.30 am showed up at 12 pm. No NCL Personnel to be seen anywhere. Luggage was picked up by local sea port employes and hand carrried/pulled (2 ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

This was my first cruise, and after this experience will also be my last. We sailed Norwegian Breakaway out of New Orleans on march 10th. This cruise was obviously overbooked, and understaffed. If you wanted to get your child into splash academy, you would have to be in line at the very least an hour early. We waited in line for an hour to see Burn The Floor. We waited in line for at ...

Norwegian Epic - Epic Failure

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Epic

I have cruised other cruise lines several times. This was my first trip on Norwegian. The good thing about the ship was that we had a nice balcony room, that was soundproof even though near the elevators and stairs. The rest was very poor. 1. Food was terrible. They did not even have the choices they listed on their website as their standard menu. They served the same core selections ...

A terrible experience.

Review for a Africa Cruise on Norwegian Dawn

Having sailed with a number of different cruise lines sailing with NCL was our worst experience by far. Itinerary: Between booking (March 2023) and sailing: the itinerary promised by NCL when booking last year looked so promising but the numerous changes before the sail date included severely reduced times at ports of call and a completely cancelled port. On querying this prior to ...

Ship old , worn out , rust , curtains with holes , stained carpets and doors ,windows seals broken and obscured , in balcony cabins , public areas . Constantly blocked public toilets , too few staff who were obnoxious , obstructive , worn out , especially in the upper outside bar . Long waits , breakfast in the cafeteria on Sunday , ran out of coffee , milk ,butter , marmalade .Manager ...

Booked through Iglu cruises who were good 3 days in Cape Town far outwayed our expectations- fantastic stay ….Then we got on the ship . Should have stayed in Cape Town. Boat is shabby . We had a restricted view cabin on deck 8 . When I say restricted- couldn’t see anything but life boat . Layout of cabin awful . You couldn’t get to one side of bed which had its head below windows . Very ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

After 16 cruises I was rather shocked that such a form of cruising/ship still exists. The ratio staff to passengers is poor, even worse the ratio cabins to public rooms. On sea days you could sit nowhere and you had to retreat to your cabin. The fight for tables in the main buffet restaurant was usually challenging and the quality of food was 2 or 3 stars max. There was not one food display you ...

Worst Cruse Ever

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

First I would like to say that I was extremely happy with the studio and am looking forward to my next sailing on Prima 10/6/24. Unfortunately I was extremely unhappy with a number of things on the Getaway. The majority of the meals in the main dining rooms were inedible. Either the meat was too tough to cut or the food was undercooked. I have been cruising for 40 yrs on various cruise lines and ...

NCL has little care for customers

Review for a Asia Cruise on Norwegian Jewel

We booked the cruise because of the great itinerary (as advertised), which included port calls at the 3 Japanese islands. NCL had then decided to consolidate the 3 stops to 2 - only in Okinawa. The extra day was turned into a sea day! About 1 week before sailing, NCL elected to move the disembarkation port from Yokohama to Koto City in Tokyo. Despite of complaints, NCL's position was "too ...

Worst NCL ship I have ever been on.

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Norwegian Sky

I am platinum on my way to Sapphire with NCL. I'm also travel agent. This ship is the worst I have ever been on. If you have mobility issues, and need to use a wheelchair or a scooter and are traveling alone this ship is NOT for you. The bathrooms that are labeled as handicap accessible do not have any automatic door openers. Nor do many of the decks, with the exception of deck 11. Beside the ...
